We, the undersigned civil society organisations, are alarmed by the increasing erosion by the state of the public’s constitutional right to freedom of expression through abuse of the Sedition Act, especially seen in last week’s arrest and investigation of Borneo Komrad founder Mukmin Nantang. We demand the immediate repeal of the Sedition Act.
